When are party times available?
We prefer to host parties on a Friday or Saturday evening or a Sunday afternoon/evening. Let us know if one of those days do not work for you and we can try to accommodate your request.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our studio can hold up to 14 guests total.
*Please note, if your party is for children, parents and other family members will count as your guest total. They are welcome to wait outside or drop off their child while the party is taking place. We don't have extra space inside and cannot overcrowd the studio.*
What is the cost to have a party at The Mosaic Hideaway?
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking. Mosaic projects start as low as $20 per project/person. We will discuss project choices when you book your party.
What can I expect?
You may come in up to 20 minutes prior to your party start time if you want to get settled in. When you arrive, the party tables will be set up and ready for your guests to get busy and start creating. Please make sure your guests arrive on time so they do not miss the instructions. A member of our friendly staff will give your guests the rundown on how to create their mosaic and will be available to answer any questions along the way. The mosaic will need to dry for 24 hours before grout can be applied. A grout kit with instructions is included. A grout demonstration will be provided so everyone will feel comfortable grouting at home.
Don't forget the picture opportunity of a group photo of everyone and their creations!
Towards the end of the party, each mosaic will be carefully wrapped and put in a bag with their grout.
Do you offer off-location events?
Yes! We have traveled to local schools, libraries and churches to do events. We will bring all necessary supplies to your location. Contact us for pricing and more details for off-location events.
What is your policy on food and drinks?
Light snacks and drinks with lids are fine in the studio. Please let us know if you're planning on bringing food so we can accommodate it with an extra table.
How long may I reserve the studio for?
The studio can be reserved for 2 hours for a $50 party fee. If you go over your scheduled time, a $25 fee will add-on for each 30 minutes.
Do you offer mosaic kits for parties I'd like to host at my own location?
Yes! Maybe you live too far away to come to our studio. Or you'd prefer to host an event at your own location. Mosaic kits are a great option. We will put together age-appropriate kits with all materials and instructions included. Check out Mosaic DIY kit options HERE. Shipping and pickup options are available.
