Broken China Jewelry Class

Create your own piece of broken china jewelry at Cedar Hill Market on 7/21

Event Description

Join this fun workshop at Cedar Hill Market on Sunday, July 21st from 1-4pm and create your own piece of jewelry from broken china dishes! Using the copper foil stained glass method, students will learn to break down their plate or cup, grind to smooth the edges, properly wrap with copper foil, apply lead-free solder, and polish. Such a great way to repurpose and create something new and wearable! We will be making one pendant necklace in class (chain included). If time allows, you can create more pieces for an extra $15 for each pendant or $20 for a pair of earrings. Students are encouraged to bring their own plate(s) or cup(s) to use. All tools and supplies are included in the class - so just bring yourself and your dishes! LOCATION: Class will be held at CEDAR HILL MARKET - 208 Houston St. Cedar Hill, TX 75104 DATE/TIME: Sunday, July 21 1-4pm CLASS FEE: $55 - all supplies included. Extra fee for additional jewelry pieces (if time allows).
