LOCATION: Cedar Hill Market - 208 Houston St. Cedar Hill, TX 75104 DATE/TIME: Sunday, July 6th 2-4pm COST: $75 - all tools and materials included In this beginner-friendly class, students will make their own snail or butterfly pieces that will be turned into their choice of a planter stake, small window-hanging, or pot hanger. Students will learn the copper foil method to wrap glass, burnish the copper, solder pieces together, add wire details, clean, polish, and wax their final results. All glass will be pre-cut by the instructor prior to class. Please let me know your glass color selections and pattern choice (snail or butterfly) at checkout. I have every glass color under the rainbow except dark pinks. Be as specific as you can with your color description so I can choose appropriate glass for you. (Thank you for trusting me with this!) The snail can have two colors, one for the shell and one for the body. The butterfly can have two colors, one for the top wings and one for the bottom wings. *For example, snail pattern with a milky white shell and bright turquoise body.* Class size is small (max 8 people) to ensure one-on-one hands-on instruction. Sign-up now!! --Ages 16+, please. -- SAFETY/LIABILITY: Lead and chemicals will be handled, as well as a soldering iron. Proper safety precautions will be discussed at class. Safety glasses will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
